HP Pavilion 14 Chromebook offiziell vorgestellt
HP hat heute mit dem Pavilion 14 sein erstes Chromebook offiziell vorgestellt, das Gerät tauchte ja bereits vor ein paar Tagen auf der offiziellen Webseite des Herstellers auf. Bei den Spezifikationen gibt es keine weiteren Überraschungen, die meisten Punkte kennen wir dank dem Leak ja bereits. Der Laptop mit dem 14 Zoll großen Display ist sogar schon ab heute zu einem Preis von 330 Dollar in den USA verfügbar, hier ging man ursprünglich von einem Release am 17. Februar aus. Bis jetzt kann man das Chromebook allerdings nur in den USA kaufen, Informationen zu einem internationalen Release gibt es bis jetzt noch nicht. Das Pavilion 14 ist ein bisschen besser als die Geräte der Konkurrenz von Samsung oder Lenovo ausgestattet, es ist allerdings auch das größte und schwerste Gerät in dieser Kategorie.
Das sorgt allerdings auch dafür, dass HP neben HDMI auch 3 USB-Anschlüsse (USB 2.0), einen SD-Slot und einen Ethernet-Eingang verbauen konnte. Die Laufzeit beträgt laut HP 4 Stunden und 15 Minuten und liegt somit ein bisschen hinter der von Samsungs Chromebook. Ob das Design und die zusätzliche Power ankommen werden bleibt abzuwarten, bisher konnten die Chromebooks ja eher mit ihrer Portabilität punkten. Wie bei den anderen Geräten, gibt es übrigens auch hier in den ersten zwei Jahren 100 GB Speicher bei Google Drive dazu. Für uns ist das Gerät momentan allerdings noch nicht so interessant, mal schauen, ob es in Zukunft auch in Deutschland erhältlich sein wird. The HP Pavilion 14 Chromebook boasts a display that’s approximately 2 inches wider (diagonally) than any other Chromebook in the market today.
