Der bisherige HTC-Chef Peter Chou ist raus und wird ersetzt. Dies vermeldet soeben der Nachrichtendienst Bloomberg, noch ohne Angabe von näheren Gründen. Seine Rolle übernimmt Chairwoman Cher Wang. Chou wird eine führende Rolle im HTC Future Development Lab einnehmen, also an der Entwicklung von neuen Geräten bzw. Diensten beteiligt sein.
Over the last two years, Ms. Wang had been increasingly involved in the running of various aspects of the business, to allow Mr. Chou to focus on product development. […] The Board of Directors and executive team agreed that it was now appropriate to formalize that progression.
