Angry Birds Rio für iPhone und iPad veröffentlicht

Wie angekündigt wurde heute Angry Birds Rio im AppStore veröffentlicht. Es handelt sich dabei um ein eigenständiges Spiel, welches zusammen mit 20th Century Fox entwickelt wurde und als Promotion für den Film „Rio“ dient. Angry Birds Rio unterscheidet sich jedoch ein bisschen von den bisherigen Updates mit neuen Level und neuem Design, es gibt hier auch ein paar neue Spielelemente und der Gegner besteht nicht mehr aus grünen Schweinen.

In Angry Birds Rio, the original Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to the magical city of Rio de Janeiro, where they eventually escape their captors and set out to to save their friends, Blu and Jewel – two rare macaws and the stars of the upcoming Fox motion picture, Rio. Angry Birds Rio will pair the physics-based gameplay of the original game with unique twists based on the film.

Das Spiel bietet euch 60 neue Level und kostenlose Updates soll es in Zukunft auch noch geben (wie ihr auf dem Screenshot im Artikel seht können wir wohl noch mit etwa 120 weiteren Level rechnen). Angry Birds Rio könnt ihr für 79 Cent (iPhone) oder 2,39 Euro (iPad) im AppStore runterladen, eine kostenlose Testversion gibt es auch.
