Pokémon: Let’s Go soll Startpunkt für die nächsten 20 Jahre werden

Mit dem Hype rund um Pokémon GO hat vermutlich niemand vor 2 Jahren gerechnet und auch im Jahr 2018 wird das Spiel immer noch häufig gespielt und sorgt auch bei Niantic für ordentlich Umsatz. Nun, 2 Jahre später, will auch Game Freak, die Entwickler der Original-Spiele, den Hype ausnutzen.

Los geht es kommenden Monat mit Pokémon Let’s Go und 2019 wird dann ein Titel für die Kernspieler folgen. 2018 und 2019 will man die alten Fans und die neuen Fans der Reihe vereinen und man hofft, dass man mit Let’s Go auf der Switch einen Startpunkt für die kommenden 20 Jahre setzen kann.

The biggest thing I feel with Let’s Go is really hoping that it’s going to serve as sort of a base or starting point for the next 20 years of Pokémon. I really think it’s important that Pokémon continues to be a positive force in the world — makes people happier, enriches their lives through a variety of ways. But I don’t think it needs to be a consistent, unchanging experience necessarily. I think there’s still a lot of room to explore variety, not only through the main series of games but also through the more spinoff titles.
