Eine kleine Anzahl von iTunes-Nutzern berichtet aktuell darüber, dass Musik von ihrem PC verschwunden ist. Apple hat sich zu diesem Problem geäußert.
Die Ursache für das Problem ist Apple allerdings unbekannt. Man weiß, dass es in extrem seltenen Fällen vorgekommen ist, man weiß aber nicht, wie man das lösen kann. Apple selbst konnte das Problem nicht reproduzieren. Trotzdem wird es diese Woche ein Update für iTunes geben, welches das Problem hoffentlich fixt.
Also, Apple löscht die Musik natürlich nicht gezielt von lokalen Rechnern, auch das habe ich die Tage im Netz gelesen, konnte das Problem bisher aber anscheinend noch nicht lösen. Trotzdem hat man an einem Update für iTunes gearbeitet und hofft, dass dieses das Problem beheben wird, so ein Bericht von iMore.
In an extremely small number of cases users have reported that music files saved on their computer were removed without their permission. We’re taking these reports seriously as we know how important music is to our customers and our teams are focused on identifying the cause. We have not been able to reproduce this issue, however, we’re releasing an update to iTunes early next week which includes additional safeguards. If a user experiences this issue they should contact AppleCare.
