Nokia Lumia 800 erhält weiteres Firmware-Update

Wie Mobiletechworld berichtet gibt es ein neues Firmware-Update für das Nokia Lumia 800, welches man sich jetzt auch schon manuell runterladen und auf dem Windows Phone installieren kann. Das letzte große Update für das Lumia 800 sollte vor allem für ein besseres Energie-Management sorgen, hat aber anscheinend gleichzeitig auch einen Lautstärke-Bug mitgebracht. Die neuste Firmware-Version ist 1600.2487.8107.12072 und wird in einigen Regionen anscheinend auch schon ausgerollt. Wer ganz ungeduldig ist, der findet nach dem Break auch eine Anleitung und die entsprechenden Dateien, um das Update ohne Zune zu installieren. Da es sich hier jedoch nur um ein kleines Update handelt würden wir zum Abwarten raten.

Anleitung: Update manuell installieren

• Download the PR 1.2 1600.2487.8107.12072 FW here.
• Download the update from the first link above then download the WPupdate tools from here.
• Unzip the Tools in a folder then copy the firmware to the same folder as the tools.
• Plug in your device, wait until the Zune client starts and then close it.
• Run the the Updater and press S or B (depending on the size of your balls..)
• Your phone will then reboot in download mode and update (don’t unplug it or do stupid things with your PC during the whole process..)
