Microsoft Xbox: Reine Streaming-Version vorerst nicht geplant
Microsoft bestätigte diese Woche, dass man keine reine Streaming-Xbox für die Zukunft geplant hat. Es war immer mal wieder die Rede, dass es kommendes Jahr zwei Xbox-Konsolen geben wird, Microsoft präsentierte dann aber nur eine.
In der Gerüchteküche hieß es später, dass das andere Projekt wohl eingestellt oder auf Eis gelegt wurde. Nun hat Phil Spencer bestätigt, dass man zumindest aktuell keine Pläne für eine Xbox hat, mit der man Spiele nur streamen kann.
Das heißt nicht, dass diese nicht folgen wird, doch der Fokus für 2020 dürfte voll auf Project Scarlett liegen. Darüber hinaus möchte Microsoft dafür sorgen, dass man mit dem Streamingdienst für Spiele erst auf anderen Plattformen wächst.
