Sony stellt Xperia Ion mit 12-Megapixel-Kamera und HD-Screen offiziell vor
Sony hat das Xperia Ion auf der CES offiziell vorgestellt und führt damit eines der ersten Geräte ein, welches auch nur noch unter der Marke Sony verkauft wird. Das Xperia Ion wird erstmal nur beim US-Netzbetreiber At&t zu haben sein, ein Marktstart außerhalb Amerikas ist zumindest theoretisch auch denkbar. Marktstart soll sowieso erst das zweite Quartal 2012 sein.
Technisch lässt sich das Gerät nicht lumpen, aber den kleinen Nachteil vorweg, es wird wohl noch Android 2.3 Gingerbread vorinstalliert sein, da Sony das Update auf Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich später nach reicht. Punkten will das Gerät mit einer 12-Megapixel-Kamera mit Exmor-R-Sensor sowie 1080p-Videoaufnahme, aber auch der 1,5 GHz-Dual-Core-Prozessor sowie das 4,6 Zoll 1280 x 720 HD Reality-Display sind nicht zu verachten.
