Mail.ru veröffentlicht eigene Cloudstorage-App für Windows Phone 8
Der russische Mail-Dienst Mail.ru hat eine neue Cloudstorage-App für Windows Phone 8 veröffentlicht, die Nutzer mit verschiedenen Features locken möchte.
In erster Linie bietet Mail.ru mit seinem Cloudstorage-Dienst 100 GB kostenlosen Speicherplatz, optional kann man auf bis zu einem TB aufstocken. Darüber hinaus gibt es Features, wie Musik- und Videowiedergabe innerhalb der App, automatische Fotouploads, einen Dokumentbetrachter für Word-, Excel-, PowerPoint-, PDF- und andere Formate und die Möglichkeit, Ordner anzulegen und diese mit anderen Nutzern zu teilen.
Im Windows Phone Store ist die App kostenlos und die Feature-Liste hört sich ehrlich gesagt gar nicht mal so schlecht an. Ob man dem russischen Dienst nun über den Weg traut oder nicht muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Ich sage es mal so: Aktuell bin ich immer noch zufriedener Dropbox- und Google-Drive-Nutzer, die Frage eines Umstiegs stellt sich daher für mich gar nicht erst.
