VLC: 3 Milliarden Downloads und AirPlay
VLC dürfte diese Woche die Marke von 3 Milliarden Downloads knacken. Das Team feiert den Meilenstein mit einem Zähler, den man auf der CES 2019 in Las Vegas aufgestellt hat. Man geht also davon aus, dass es noch heute passieren wird, denn es bricht der letzte Tag der Messe an.
Das Team von Videolan möchte außerdem Apple AirPlay zur App hinzufügen und geht davon aus, dass die Funktion kommenden Monat erscheinen wird. Mit Plex oder Kodi will man zwar nicht direkt konkurrieren, eine Mediathek kommt aber:
