Dell stellt das Android-Tablet Streak 7 mit Dual-Core-Prozessor offiziell vor
Der Dell Streak ist eigentlich ein nettes Device und hat sogar aktuell das Update auf Android 2.2 Froyo erhalten. Leider ist er mit einer Displaydiagonale von 5 Zoll nicht ganz massentauglich und fristet eher ein Schattendasein auf dem hart umkämpften Smartphonemarkt. Zudem kostet er mit knapp 550 Euro auch nicht viel weniger als ein Tablet.
Jetzt hat Dell den Nachfolger bzw. besser gesagt den großen Bruder Streak 7 offiziell vorgestellt. Das Gerät funkt im US-Netz von T-Mobile mit HSPA+, hat 16GB Speicher, sowie eine 1,3 Megapixel Kamera an Board und den bereits mehrfach gesehenen 1GHz Dual-Core Tegra 2-Chipsatz verbaut. Der Touchscreen hat die typische WVGA-Auflösung und ist durch Gorilla Glass recht solide.
Leider läuft es noch mit Android 2.2 und von einem Update auf Honeycomb wurde nichts gesagt. Sicher ein solides 7-Zoll-Gerät, mir persönlich sagt es aber spontan nicht zu. Liegt wohl bei mir eher daran, dass ich mich bereits etwas in’s Motorola Xoom verguckt habe. :D Was haltet Ihr von dem Teil?
