Nokia Connection 2011: „new market disrupting device“ am 21. Juni [Update]

Es sieht so aus, als ob Nokia so langsam ersten Einladungen für die Nokia Connection 2011 in Singapur verschickt, iTWire will zumindest eine solche erhalten haben. Es soll auf dem Event auch eine Keynote von Stephen Elop geben, die live übertragen wird und auf der Nokia ein neues Gerät präsentieren möchte.

However, we do learn that Nokia’s International nDevice of mystery “will be unveiled and demonstrated for the first time by Kurt Bonnici, product and technology marketing manager at Nokia Australia”. Following this demo will be “a live broadcast of Stephen Elop’s keynote speech from the Nokia Connection conference in Singapore.” Nokia has advised the press that the information is a technical session only, stating: “Please note this will be a product demonstration only. “In his role as product manager, Kurt will only be available to answer technical questions relating to the new device.”

Produktmanager Kurt Bonnici wird im Anschluss an die Demonstration Fragen beantworten. Es wird sich bei diesem Gerät mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit um ein MeeGo-Smartphone handeln, alle Zeichen deuten auf die erste offizielle Präsentation des Nokia N9/N950 hin. Wir sind gespannt, wie sich Nokia die Zukunft von MeeGo vorstellt und wie diese zur Produktstrategie vom neuen Ökosystem mit Windows Phone aussieht.
