Finales Froyo-Update und Quellcode für das Samsung Galaxy S verfügbar [Update 3]
In den letzten Tagen geht ja es rund in Sachen Froyo-Updates. Nachdem es neue Informationen zum Motorola Milestone gab und es gut sein könnte, dass sogar das HTC Magic Android 2.2 bekommt, macht auch Samsung langsam Druck.
Es deutet alles darauf hin, dass Froyo für das Galaxy S fertig ist. Denn Samsung hat unter opensource.samsung.com (nach i9000 suchen) den Quellcode für das Galaxy S-Update veröffentlicht und auch in diversen Foren geistert ein neuer angeblich finaler Build rum, welcher mit dem von Samsung veröffentlichten übereinstimmt. Die Version I9000XWJPM steht hier bereits zum Download bereit. Weitere Hinweise, sowie Anleitungen findet Ihr hier und hier.
Da ich meine Geräte nicht selbst flashe, modde oder sonstwas damit mache, kann ich euch da nicht großartig weiterhelfen, sollte ich Stuss geschrieben, oder etwas vergessen haben, weist mich bitte in den Kommentaren darauf hin, ich update dann den Artikel.
Die geplante Auslieferung über Kies sollte aufgrund dieser Nachricht planmäßig in Kürze erfolgen.

Der Sourcecode des Updates verschwindet immer mal wieder und dann taucht er wieder auf. Aus Schweden, Dänemark und Norwegen kommen die ersten Meldungen, dass das Update offiziell erhältlich sei. Dazu gibt es auch erste Berichte über Neuerungen bzw. Änderungen, welche den Nutzern auffallen. Dazu gehören unter anderem:
