Kodi 15.0 „Isengard“: Erste Beta-Version mit vielen Verbesserungen veröffentlicht
Neun Monate nach der Umbenennung von XBMC in Kodi und der darauffolgenden Veröffentlichung von Kodi 14.0 ist Version 15.0 nun in einer ersten Beta-Version verfügbar.
Version 15.0 mit dem Codenamen „Isengard“, einem Ort aus Tolkiens Fantasy-Welt Mittelerde, bringt dabei eine ganze Menge Verbesserungen mit. Beispielsweise wurde der Add-on-Manager mit Hinsicht auf eine bessere Übersichtlichkeit optimiert, die Kapitelauswahl zeigt nun auch Thumbnails und überflüssige Code-Bestandteile aus älteren Versionen konnte entfernt werden.
Über eine neue Option kann man in der TV-Sektion außerdem direkt zur ersten, noch ungesehenen, Episode einer Serie springen. Unter Android wird die Lautstärke endlich über den Systemregler gesteuert und unter OS X stehen ab Version 15.0 nur noch 64-Bit-Versionen zum Download zur Verfügung.
