Samsung Galaxy Note 7: Event am 2. August ist offiziell

Das Unpacked-Event für das neue Galaxy Note am 2. August ist endlich offiziell und Samsung hat bekannt gegeben, dass es einen Livestream geben wird.

In den letzten Tagen und Wochen gab es zahlreiche Gerüchte zum Samsung Galaxy Note 7 und heute hat das Unternehmen in einem Blogpost bekannt gegeben, dass das dafür passende Unpacked-Event am 2. August stattfinden wird. Für uns ist das keine Überraschung mehr, dieser Termin stand sowieso im Raum.

Samsung hat außerdem auch schon mal verraten, dass der offizielle Name für das nächste Note-Flaggschiff tatsächlich „Galaxy Note7″ lauten wird. Warum man hier auf das Leerzeichen nach Note verzichtet hat, ist mir allerdings ein Rätsel.

First, the Galaxy Note7 will complement our Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, and unify our product portfolio. Second, the Galaxy Note7 will minimize confusion about the latest mobile technology from Samsung, and provide full alignment with Galaxy S smartphone.

Das Event startet um 11 Uhr Ortszeit in New York (17 Uhr in Deutschland) und es wird parallel auch noch zwei weitere Events, eines in London und eines in Rio de Janeiro, geben. Samsung wird das Event auch wieder live übertragen.
